Frequently Asked Questions

We are here to answer all of your questions! Thank you for all your kind and encouraging comments about the work that we are doing to try and raise awareness about accessibility.

1. What is event accessibility?

- When organising an event that is open to the public - like the Australian Grand Prix, organisers must also provide access for persons with a disability. In short, it means making sure that all patrons have equal access to an event, regardless of their restrictions.

2. What is the aim of disability awareness?

- Disability awareness for us means encouraging inclusion for people with a disability. We aim to challenge barriers and stereotypes that can restrict physical engagement and experiences. We want to educate others and provide knowledge that will hopefully add to the value of the lives of those living with a disability.

3. Do F1 races have accessibility maps?

- Some of the Formula 1 races do have accessibility maps. Some of them do not. At the very least, they ALL should have a map that marks important accessibility information, like accessible wheelchair grandstands, accessible toilets, accessible parking.

4. Where can I get more information about accessible F1 races?

- We will always have any accessibility information available on our page one week out from the event. Alternatively, you can check the event webpage for information about accessibility. Please note that for some f1 races - this information will be incredibly limited and you may have to email them.

5. How can I purchase F1 accessible tickets?

- Accessible tickets are mainly purchased through the event organisers webpage. Sometimes you will have to email the race track separately - as they only have limited spaces. Sometimes you will have to go through a third party ticket provider.
